1 Introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest
The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting of the Culture, Welsh Language and Communications Committee.
1.2 In accordance with Standing Order 34.19, the Chair stated that she had determined that the public were excluded from the Committee’s meeting in order to protect public health.
1.3 The Chair stated that if for any reason she dropped out of the meeting, the Committee had agreed that David Melding MS would act as Temporary Chair in accordance with Standing Order 17.22.
1.4 There were no apologies or declarations of interest.
2 COVID-19: Evidence session on the impact of Covid-19 on Sport, Panel One
2.1 Members questioned the following witnesses concerning Covid-19 and its impact on Sport in Wales:

3 COVID-19: Evidence session on the impact of Covid-19 on Sport, Panel Two
3.1 Members questioned the following witnesses about the impact of Covid-19 on Sport in Wales:
Jonathan Ford, C.E.O, Football Association Wales
Gareth Davies, Chairman, Welsh Rugby Union
Marcus Kingwell, Chief Executive Officer, EMD UK: The national governing body for group exercise
4 Motion under Standing Order 17.42(ix) to resolve to exclude the public from the remainder of the meeting
4.1 The Committee agreed the Motion to exclude the public from the remainder of the meeting.
5 Private Debrief
During the Private debrief Members agreed to:
· write a short report on the impact of the COVID 19 outbreak on sports;
· write to Bauer Media regarding the proposed rebranding of the Swansea Sound Radio Station;
· write to the Welsh Government on the First Supplementary Budget 2020-21; and
· request a Plenary Debate slot to discuss the report on the ‘Impact of the COVID 19 outbreak on the arts sector’ from the Business Committee.
